About RöntgenTek
RöntgenTek is an engineering team specialized in software and electronics for X-ray systems. We help manufacturers and integrators of security-screening and industrial X-ray equipment solve the most technically challenging parts of their products: image processing, control electronics, and detector integration.
Our specialization
Unlike general-purpose software studios, we focus on a narrow, knowledge-intensive field — X-ray inspection. This gives us a depth of expertise that is hard to acquire "on the side":
- Dual energy image processing — material discrimination, calibration, colorization, real-time visualization.
- Control electronics — controllers for X-ray scanners and X-ray systems, embedded software, SDKs.
- Detector integration — extensive hands-on experience with Detection Technology and other line-scan detectors.
- Automatic detection & AI — object and material recognition in X-ray images: threats / prohibited items, foreign bodies in food, and NDT defects.
